Summary: The development of this masters thesis work aims to establish an objective comparison between two content management tools currently stable business in a competitive market.
The lack of a quality model for adaptive hipermedia systems in general and adaptive educational Web site in particular has motivated this initial study to the models of quality for Web application. For it, they are analyzed on one hand the attributes of the quality Web like usability, functionality, reliability, efficiency, maintainability and portability; the models and metrics, and for other, the educational Web as for the characteristics that should possess to be considered as such. Later on, one investigates on the adaptive hipermedia systems, how they owed these to be related in their interaction with the user, the own educational characteristic of interaction, concluding with the proposal ASE-QEM (Adaptive Site for Education- Quality Evaluation Method).
Se describe la tarea bilingüe de la recuperación de la información, que formula preguntas en español para recuperar documentos en inglés, basado en el modelo vectorial. Los resultados son inferiores a los obtenidos con la recuperación monolingüe.
In this text we compile the grounds and reasons why the Virtual Private Networksare being strongly introduced in the context of data communication and computer security.It is also reasoned out the election of a specfic Virtual Private Network (OpenVPN), in order to be implemented and tested. We deeply analyze this kind of Virtual Network, the different scenarios in which it can be applied, as well as its confiuration and installation. Finally we analyze the achieved results and the possible security problems that may arise.
This paper describes an experimental investigation carried out to evaluate the user interaction with a cross-language question answering system. Question answering is an advanced information retrieval task that attempts to find exact answers to specific information needs. A minimal fragment of text answering the question is sought, for which purpose a large document collection is used. The problem is greater when documents are in a language in which the user is rather unskilled. In this situation, interaction with the user improves system accuracy. The main objective is to develop enhanced systems to help users to solve their information needs. Two forms of interaction were explored.
