This report presents the results of research carried out with my people, Paiter Suruí, about Pamine Project, a project that began in 2003 with the goal to reforest degraded areas and enrich native forest areas of Sete de Setembro Indigenous Land, between of the states Rondonia and Mato Grosso. Pamine means, in the language Paiter Suruí, reborn, the act of remaking something. The name was chosen to represent the process of rebirth of the forest with human help. A renaissance not only the trees planted by the project, but also hunting, the fruit, the environment, as it was known for the Paiter Suruí before of the deforestation.
